Lauren Ash Morgan was an actor, board member, and director at the Seoul Shakespeare Company since 2011. She is now the founder of the company along with Speech of Fire. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text director as well as the costume, set and music designer. While she was usually the leader of the group of actors, in her final year she made her debut as director (and the lighting design) in the SSC's King Lear.
